Welcome to Shademaster Landscape Design! Our mission is to bring your outdoor living dreams to life through thoughtful, custom design. Below is a step-by-step guide to our design process.

Step 1: Initial Consultation & Bid Meeting

This is where your project begins! During this meeting:

We'll walk your property and discuss your goals.
Share your ideas! We encourage you to prepare a list of what you're looking for in your landscape, including specific features and your preferred design style.
Based on this discussion, we'll provide a custom bid for your design catered to your wants and project requirements.

Step 2: Initial Concept Design

Once we've gathered your ideas and goals, we'll get to work on creating an initial concept design.

This is a big-picture design that sets the foundation for your project.

Timeline: Around 2 weeks depending on size and complexity of your project.

Step 3: Concept Review & Revisions

We'll meet to review the initial concept together. During this stage:

We'll discuss the design in detail and make adjustments based on your feedback.
Revisions are made until you give final approval. Any major changes should be addressed during this stage to avoid additional costs later.
Unlimited revisions can be made at this time. Most projects take around 1-3 revisions to get it just right.

First Revision

Second Revision

Timeline: Iterations typically take 2 days to 1 week, depending on the complexity of the changes.

Step 4: 3D Renderings

If desired, we can take your approved design to the next level by creating:

3D renderings to visualize your new landscape in realistic detail.
An interactive model that allows you to explore your landscape on a computer or mobile device.

Note: Major changes requested during or after this stage may incur additional costs.

Step 5: Construction Documents

With the design finalized, we'll prepare detailed construction documents, which include:

A breakdown of each element in your design including irrigation, planting, lighting, dimensions, grading, and more as needed.
Guidance for materials and installation to ensure every detail is clear for the build phase.

During this phase, you'll also make final decisions on materials like mulch, gravel, plants, and finishes.

Step 6: Bid for Construction

When you're ready to move forward with construction, Shademaster Landscape Design Build can provide:

An official bid for your project based on the final design and materials.
If approved by you, we'll schedule your project on our work calendar and begin the transformation!
